Marlin is a freight company in the South of England, who ship and store goods all over the world. This site is a example of a small static content site. The site took a few weeks to develop, and the owners are delighted. Our brief was to produce a 10 page brochure site, using text supplied by he company, and sourcing and supplying images, some of which came from our own photograph library

This was a very interesting build for us. Not only was it “on topic” with us being professional photographers, but also it gave us the chance to be very creative with an e-commerce set up

Building the site
The build was to a very specified time scale, and included formatting all the product images. The build involved very close cooperation with Lencarta on a day to day basis during the build, and then some followup work with customers after the build. The build was done in phases, with a server move and dealing with the existing site to minimise downtime and disruption

This is a website for a wedding and portrait photographer. We incorporated a secure contact form (PHP) and a slide show on the front page, which the client can update themselves. Another part of the build was letting the portfolio be really easy for the client to update
Working with the client
We feel part of web design is working with and listening to a client to understand their needs. In this build, it became apparent the client was pretty OK with FTP, and wanted to be able to update the site herself. We designed aspects of the site to make this really easy, all the way down to the point of supplying specifically modified slide show template files for Photoshop
